I know you’re all really upset that I haven’t updated you in a while. Don’t worry, I’m on page 32 of my thesis. I will be on page 35 by the end of the day, and I will have a draft to edit by Tuesday.

I’ve been looking at my schedule for next week, trying to figure out when I can work on my thesis because I have a draft due February 6th and that’s soon and scary and I only have 9 pages written so far and oh dear will I ever finish and graduate and get a big girl job and…
Anyway, I realized that I can go to the library at 8am on Tuesday and Thursday, work totally uninterrupted for an hour because it’s 8am and the first week of classes, and avoid having to take the T during rush hour. I am the winner!
(I realize I’m not going to write 31-51 pages in two hours a week. There are other times, too. That’s just what I’m most excited about.)
I guess I’m cleaning after work today. And writing thesis.
This is my “17 pages of outline down, 2 or 3 or a million more to go!” face. Hint: It involves coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
